Superstitious - [9/10]
This book took me by surprise. I did not really expect to enjoy this thriller/horror book as much as I did. Being R.L Stine's first adult fiction novel, it was executed very well with the characters having a lot of depth and the relationships that Sara has where portrayed and written so well. Her infatuation with both her ex as well as Liam are understandable for the character that they portray, and her actions when they start to be weird are relatable which makes for an interesting read, she reacts in a way that I would so then I become victim to whatever story Stine concocts. The devil/demon was a bit corny, but in the whole scheme of the story with how the superstitions keep it at bay was cool little twist on the story. The way everything was executed in this book made it such a satisfying read, one of those books you close and just have a good feeling because it was a good story.
