Project Hail Mary - [8/10]

Very interesting read. Quite jarring actually. I have to say, Andy Weir must be a scientist or very interested in it, because the book is written so technically, no detail is spared, which everything so much more realistic. Everything is explained logically and goes through proper scientific methods that’s inscrutable (best example is in the very beginning, he wakes up and does all the experiments to figure out that he’s on a spaceship). The way that this is so factually written, I fully believe something like this could happen. No, I don’t believe in Astrophage, but a book like this really opens your minds to the possibilities of what could be out there, what undiscovered life forms/bacteria/materials are out there. Im not outing on my tin foil hat, but you’d be stupid to think that there is nothing out there. Really interesting how Eridians ‘see’ with sound, and have a completely dark planet. A very creative book and one of the better sci fis I’ve read in a while.
